Rocky Mountain Escape Log Cabin Rentals

1st visit and definatly not the last !! Spent 3 nights and everything was perfect. Off grid and not having to do a thing but unplug and relax . Perfect !! The cabins are amazing. Gary and Julia are amazing !!. Came home and 1st day back telling everyone I know they need to go. Thanks for a great weekend. See you next time .

The cabins were super comfortable and exceeded expectations. It had everything you would need and was really clean and tidy! Also the hospitality was outstanding, Julia and Garry gave a warm and welcoming feeling and thought with us on hikes we could do. It was via them that we found out about the hike to Hoff Ridge, a 2 hours beautiful hike through an idyllic forest up to a steep open field with rewarding views. Especially the top was a real treasure with an outstanding 360degrees view!

Another amazing weekend at the Escape for some relaxation, digital detox and time in the outdoors. The cabins themselves are amazing and it's tough to beat sitting on the front deck and drinking in nature in all its glory. A very short drive down to Rock Lake will bring lots of opportunities to see wildlife along with some truly beautiful scenery. The hosts (Julia and Gary) are always very welcoming and friendly.

Rocky Mountain Escape Log Cabins are a true escape. The atmosphere is not like anything else I have ever experienced. The solitude and serenity is beyond amazing. The cabins look brand new even though there is a lot of history there. The owners, Gary and Julia are incredibly friendly and thoughtful. They think of every detail to make your stay comfortable. The hiking from your doorstep is awesome! You must do the Hoff Ridge hike to get the true experience of being in the Wilderness. I have to recommend this place 1000%.

My husband and I had a lovely time at this little mountain getaway. The scenery and views were fantastic and our hosts were very welcoming an attentive. It was a great place to unplug and relax. The cabins were beautiful and so homey with a wood burning fireplace. I know my husband loved cooking on the big outdoor griddle.

I had the most wonderful experience at the Rocky Mountain Escape Log Cabin. Peaceful doesn't even describe the serenity and beauty that I experienced. The cabin was gorgeous, the walking trails were breathtaking, and the hosts were ever so kind. I will definitely go there again, and feel comfortable referring this escape to friends and family!

What a perfect place to catch-up with my parents who were visiting from Ontario. The beautiful, private cabins are located in a remote setting, away from touristy destinations with lots of trails and watercourses. The griddle was great for cooking meals on the patio. The pet-friendly cabin was wonderful for my old dog to also get a good rest.The short, winding drive to and from Rock Lake is a fun thing to do during the day where you can take a picnic to the day use areas if hiking or water activities aren't your thing.If you want peace and quiet and to disconnect from the craziness of the world, this is the place for you. No social media, no television.There is lots of wildlife to view along the road in, on the trail and by the firepit. Make sure to bring some binoculars, especially if you like birdwatching like me.Gary and Julia are kind, welcoming hosts who take great care of the Escape and of their guests. I hope to come back this Fall for another reset.

We recently spent 2 nights here and it was fantastic. The cabin is amazing, super clean, had everything we needed and couldn't have been better. Quiet and peaceful with spectacular scenery, this place is a gem. Julia and Gary are excellent hosts and super knowledgeable about the area. We will be back to experience this again in the summer.
